The model is a guide dog figure built from separate parts. The body has four legs, a tail and a round neck socket for the head. The head is a smooth dog head with floppy ears and a muzzle. The basket and handle form the guide-dog harness accessories.

I designed this guide dog figure with articulated joints. It prints in one piece, and the legs, body and head move straight off the print bed.

About this piece

I made this as an early guide dog model with separate printable parts. The download includes the dog body, head, basket and guide handle. It is a character model, and it shows the direction I was already exploring: recognisable objects that can be understood by touch. I print this design to order in PLA, check it and ship it from Denmark. The files are also free in my model library, if you would rather print it yourself.
