About this piece
I am fully blind, and this is my attempt at recreating the historic Copenhagen stock exchange. I visited Børsen once and walked its halls, and I built this from that one memory together with written descriptions of the building. The 17th century building was under reconstruction when it caught fire on the 16th of April 2024. This model is my humble homage to a place that matters to Denmark, made with my old text-to-3D AI workflow, one of my first models. Nowadays I code everything by hand in OpenSCAD.
Why I made it this way
- I built it from my one memory of walking Børsen's halls, plus written descriptions.
- One of my first models, designed blind with my old text-to-3D AI workflow through Luma Labs.
- I kept the long facade, the corner towers and the spire recognisable by touch.
- I made it as an homage after the fire on the 16th of April 2024.
- It works as a shelf piece and as a tactile way to meet a Danish landmark.
What arrives
If you choose the printed option, I send the building cleaned, checked and ready to display. Contact me before ordering if you want a specific colour.
Printing and finishing
I make printed orders to order in Denmark. I inspect the print, clean the edges and pack it safely before shipping.
Returns and digital files
Printed items have a 14-day right of withdrawal, plus your 2-year complaint right.
