The body has a rounded cockpit at the front, a long tail boom at the back, landing skids underneath and a vertical post on top where a rotor could sit. The shape is smooth and simplified, with the helicopter silhouette doing most of the work.

About this piece

I made this as an early helicopter body model in OpenSCAD. It is a simple toy-like shell rather than a detailed scale model, with the main shapes kept clear and easy to understand. I print this design to order in PLA, check it and ship it from Denmark. The files are also free in my model library, if you would rather print it yourself.
