A slim printed case for the iPhone SE 2022 with a name raised on the back, my very first independent OpenSCAD design.

About this piece

This case is where my design journey really began: my first model designed fully independently in OpenSCAD. As a completely blind person, OpenSCAD gives me total control over every dimension in code, so I shaped the camera opening, the button cutouts and the lip around the screen without needing to see them. The back carries a name in raised letters you can read with a fingertip. I print it with your name, or plain if you prefer, and the free files let you customise every measurement yourself.

Why I made it this way

  • My first fully independent OpenSCAD design, the start of everything on this site.
  • I designed every cutout in code: camera, lightning port, buttons and switch.
  • The back carries a raised name you can read by touch. I print yours on request.
  • It fits the iPhone SE 2022 with a low lip protecting the screen edge.
  • The free files are fully parametric, so any measurement can be adjusted.

What arrives

If you choose the printed option, I print the case with the name you enter at purchase, or plain if you prefer, and send it cleaned, checked and test-fitted. Contact me before ordering if you want a specific colour.

Printing and finishing

I make printed orders to order in Denmark. I inspect the print, check the fit of the cutouts, clean the edges and pack it safely before shipping.

Returns and digital files

Printed items have a 14-day right of withdrawal, plus your 2-year complaint right.
