How ordering works
- Send me your material and wishes through the design request form. Photos, drawings or a PDF floor plan are all fine.
- I design your model, send you my suggestion, and confirm the final price before anything is printed.
- Once you approve, I print, check and ship your piece from Denmark.
The starting price covers a single plate like the ones in the photos. I confirm the exact price with your design, before you pay anything.
About this piece
Maps are how sighted people understand a place before they go there. A tactile map gives the same superpower to your fingers: streets run as raised lines, buildings stand as small blocks, and the layout of a neighbourhood becomes something you can learn at the kitchen table before walking it. I build these tiles from real map data for the exact area you choose. This is a made-to-order piece. Tell me the place, the area it should cover and what matters most: street layout for orientation, buildings, or terrain. I design the tile, we agree on the final price, and then I print. A street key card in braille can accompany the tile, naming the streets your fingers find. These maps help blind residents learn their own neighbourhood, prepare for a new school route, or simply own a beautiful object of a place they love. The starting price covers a single tile like the ones in the photos; larger areas or multi-tile maps are priced by scope.
